Mold In Furnace Closet in Condo
This damaged drywall with mold growth was found in a condominium furnace closet in Milwaukee, WI. This job required that the furnace be completely removed by a furnace professional, then SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County to do the mold remediation and then coordinate the rebuild with new insulation and drywall, new texture and paint and a new riser. Those cold Wisconsin winters requires a furnace so SERVPRO also coordinated the re-install of the furnace unit along with complete cleaning and disinfecting. In all this job took 8 days to complete. Mold was discovered on all 5 sides and required that the entire closet be demolished. The after photo was taken after the new drywall and insulation and riser were installed. This was all done as part of the closing on this condo when it was being sold. The owner of SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County coordinated with the condo seller, the buyer, their agents, the HVAC professional, the drywaller, the painter and the carpenter. SERVPRO is proud to have coordinated with that many people to complete a project in 8 days.
