Attic insulation damaged from smoke

This attic insulation located in a home in Milwaukee, WI was damaged after a fire started in the kitchen and the smoke rose into that area.  Due to the odor of the smoke, SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County recommended and was given approval by the insurance adjuster to remove all the insulation in the attic.  Both batt insulation and cellulose insulation was found in this attic and removed.  The after photo was taken when all the insulation was removed.  The last step in the deodorization process was to use an ozone generator and help remove any remaining smoke odor.  By the time SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County was done cleaning and deodorizing the attic, all smoke odor was gone.
